Professor Te-Hua Fang is a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, where he also serves as Dean of the College of Intelligent Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 2000.
Professor Fang is an internationally recognized researcher in nanotechnology, molecular dynamics, advanced materials, nanomanufacturing, surface science, and mechanical characterization. His research has contributed significantly to the understanding and development of nanoscale materials and their mechanical properties through both computational and experimental approaches. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), CSME, ISDS, and TIKI, and has received major research honors, including the Young Outstanding Award (2007) and Outstanding Research Award (2011) from Taiwan’s National Science Council. His research has produced more than 500 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters, attracting over 13,600 citations with an h-index of 60.
